The Global AIDS Alliance (GAA) is a transnational alliance of partner organizations, founded in March, 2001 and headquartered in Washington, DC. Sponsoring groups include religious organizations, humanitarian agencies, human rights groups, AIDS activists and others. The GAA stands for eliminating the AIDS crisis without delay by mobilizing public opinion, more money, and far better policies against HIV/AIDS and its causes, including extreme poverty.
