The Impact of War on Children, a project of The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), is authored by Graça Machel, an international advocate for children. Drawing on Mrs. Machel seminal 1996 UN report The Impact of Armed Conflict on Children, this book reviews the progress made since then in protecting children from the atrocities of war.
